No crowd. No connection. Just the orangey red lipstick — too bold, too wrong, too perfect — the kind that only works on a woman who knows she’s the moment.

Key Themes1. "Running" may not mean physically running The title suggests that a fast-paced vibe can sometimes come from avoidance. When we're constantly moving, reacting, explaining, defending, or trying to stay ahead of conflict, we may actually be running from a fear, a person, or a painful situation.2. The "monster" is symbolic The author explicitly says that in real life, the monster is often a person who has learned to exploit your reactions. The focus is not on physical danger but on emotional dynamics. [www.withglitter.online]www.withglitter.online3. Calmness changes the power dynamic The story's central message is that when someone stops reacting the way they used to, the other person may lose influence. The author describes calmness as something that can be unsettling to those who rely on creating chaos. [www.withglitter.online]www.withglitter.online4. Energy feeds conflict The closing line suggests that some conflicts survive because of continual engagement. According to the author, the "monster" loses power when it is no longer being fed attention, fear, or reaction. [www.withglitter.online]www.withglitter.onlinePsychological InterpretationThe passage reflects a common idea in psychology: people who seek control, drama, or manipulation often depend on predictable emotional responses from others. When those responses stop, the pattern can break.

Welcome to the era of being placebo’d — where everything looks real, feels real, tastes real, but somehow… isn’t. And we? We’re out here normalizing it.

You’re in your fifties, cheating on your own crown with married crowd members dressed like clowns. If you weren’t such a simple idiot, you’d feel the rhythm of the wave and sync with it. My brain and your brain used to dome up together — that passionate dome, the one that swallowed whole futures — you remember that energy. You used to indulge in it. In me. Until you ended up no bueno.

remember when I blamed the crowd for the loss of connection. I removed my human from that crowd — your crowd. I removed myself from you. You no longer have access to my being.

Everyone wants to be trendy. Not everyone wants to be a trendsetter — and the truth is, most trendsetters don’t even realize the influence they carry. They’re just living. Wearing what they want, saying what they want, doing what they want.

.For a long time, I thought that verse was talking about obvious things. The people who openly make bad decisions. The people who wear their negativity on their sleeves. But I've come to realize that's not always how it happens.Sometimes it happens slowly. When someone is trendy, intelligent, and attractive to the eye, they naturally acquire friends. People are drawn to them. At first, it feels genuine. Everyone wants to be around confidence. Everyone wants to be near success. Everyone wants to be around someone who stands out.But then they realize how amazing you are. That's where the thorns start appearing. It starts with negativity disguised as jokes. Talking shit while laughing. Walking that fine line where they can always say, "I was just kidding." They throw little shots and test boundaries. The thing is, they can't take your intelligence, your confidence, or your ability to see through manipulation.Because intelligent people see that stuff. They ignore it.They move on.They keep winning. But what happens when you finally acquire something they can take from you? What happens when you find someone whose energy matches yours? Now you've got something valuable. Now you've got arm candy. Not only that, but together you're intimidating. The confidence. The chemistry. The way you look together. The happiness. People notice it, and not everyone celebrates it.Some people envy it.Now the game changes. Those little jokes slowly become real actions.Small issues begin appearing. Nothing big enough to point at. Nothing obvious enough to call out. Just enough to create confusion. Then misinformation starts spreading. People tell you false things just to get information back from you. They don't actually know anything, but they want to appear like they do.The manipulation grows.A couple months later, you've somehow become caught up in the very conversations you never wanted to be part of. The same negativity that once surrounded you is now surrounding the person you love.Three or four months go by, and now you're watching them get pulled into the mix.Remember when I said intelligent? So where did the intelligence go?Why is this person now surrounded by people who are feeding them negativity? Why are they listening? Why is the person who once thought for themselves suddenly becoming influenced by everyone else? That's the scary part.People don't always lose themselves all at once.Sometimes they trade pieces of themselves for acceptance. The company they keep slowly replaces their judgment with gossip, their confidence with insecurity, and their peace with drama. What was once intelligence becomes wasted energy spent playing games built on jealousy and hate. Then six months pass. The pressure is everywhere.Every conversation.Every opinion.Every interaction. The people influencing them keep applying pressure until eventually they feel trapped between making their own decision and making everyone else happy. And eventually it happens. The connection is gone. Not because it had to be.Not because love wasn't there. But because they were pushed so far trying to satisfy manipulators that they lost sight of what they actually had.The saddest part is what happens next. They finally go home.Away from all the people who encouraged the chaos.Away from the voices that kept telling them what to think.Away from the people who somehow managed to make them lose their mind in six short months. And now the silence arrives. The relationship is gone. The happiness is gone. The person who genuinely cared is gone. And suddenly they're alone with their thoughts. The people who influenced everything no longer see them as a threat. They got what they wanted. They controlled a chapter of someone else's life and walked away feeling victorious. The championship is theirs.Their heads are in the clouds.Meanwhile, the person left behind is trying not to cry.Trying to understand what happened.Trying to figure out how they went from happy to only being happy when someone else allowed them to be.That's why the verse matters."Bad company corrupts good character."Not because good people suddenly become bad people. But because even intelligent people can become influenced by the environment they choose to live in.The people around us shape our thoughts, our emotions, and our decisions. And if we're not careful, the company we keep can convince us to push away the very things that once made us happy.Because in the end, you really are who you hang around..
